Transfer Buzz: Premier League Giants Eye Talented Midfielders
Chelsea has thrown its hat in the ring for Brighton midfielder Yasin Ayari, joining Galatasaray in pursuit of the 23-year-old Swedish talent. Liverpool, on the other hand, is taking its time with contract talks for Alexis Mac Allister. The Argentine midfielder has been in fine form but there’s no rush from the club to extend his deal just yet. Meanwhile, Barcelona and Real Madrid are both tracking Johan Manzambi, the Swiss midfielder who's been making waves at Aston Villa since his arrival. At just 21, his future is looking bright. Sunderland is gearing up to make another push for Geny Catamo, the 25-year-old winger from Sporting, as they look to bolster their squad in the upcoming January transfer window. Everton is also active in the market, keeping an eye on Croatian striker Dion Beljo from Dinamo Zagreb. The 24-year-old is among several options the club is considering for their January plans. In a further sign of Liverpool's ambition, they, along with several elite European clubs, are interested in 18-year-old Mexican midfielder Gilberto Mora from Tijuana, who is turning heads with his performances. Arsenal is looking to recoup the £55 million they invested in striker Viktor Gyokeres, but a deal may be more feasible at the end of the season rather than this January. In a twist of fate, Brazil's Vinicius Jr was tempted by a move to Arsenal last summer, but now he aims to remain at Real Madrid for the long haul. Lastly, Arsenal is reportedly in a strong position to sign 20-year-old Turkish midfielder Can Uzun from Eintracht Frankfurt, leading the Premier League chase for the promising talent.
